Nike is bringing its Yardrunners collection back to campus.
The next installment of Nike’s HBCU-focused Yardrunners program is set to feature five Air Max 97 colorways, each representing an HBCU and its culture.
According to Sole Retriever, the schools represented in the upcoming collection are:
- Coppin State University
- North Carolina A&T University
- Mississippi Valley State University
- Clark Atlanta University
- Tuskegee University
The Air Max 97 will serve as the canvas for the latest Yardrunners collection, continuing Nike’s effort to spotlight HBCU history, culture and community through footwear.
The project gives each university an opportunity to bring its identity to one of Nike’s most recognizable Air Max silhouettes.
